The Viatorians welcomed four new novitiates to their Latin American Novitiate in Santiago, Chile. The four — including three from Colombia and one from Chile — have begun the process of formation.
Jhobany Orduz, William Pordo and Diego Cordoba, all from Colombia, along with Tomas Villalobos of Chile, form the class of 2013 group of novices. Fr. Marcelo Lamas will serve as their novice master.
During their year in the novitiate, they will undergo an intense training process as strong preparation for religious life. Their studies will include immersion into community, pastoral, spiritual and academic studies.
“This training process is a fundamental part of the canonical novitiate year,” says Fr. Edgar Suarez, CSV, superior of the foundation of Colombia, which starts the path to religious life. The Viatorian Community wishes them a happy novitiate year.”
