In only a few days, a solidarity letter signed by the Viatorian Provincial Council, received strong support from 120 international organizations and is now online in English and Spanish. The letter, written by the Network in Solidarity with the People of Guatemala, demands justice for the assassination of Noé Gómez Barrera, who was a member of the ancestral authorities of the Xinka Parliament of Guatemala.
Amid the growing response, there is still time to sign the Google Form in case other organizations would like to keep multiplying the support in the wake of this murder and the growing threats to Xinka leaders and others across the country who continue to demonstrate for democracy and for the self-determination of peoples in Guatemala.
