An Advent Calendar that Puts Laudato Si’ into Action

Back in 2015, Pope Francis published his second encylical, Laudato Si’, or Care for our Common Home. In it, he called on people around the world to take “swift and unified global action” to reverse environmental degradation and global warming.

In addition, Pope Francis called on religious congregations to study and implement Laudato Si’ through their community’s charism. As a way to answer that call, members of the Provincial Chapter have adapted an Advent calendar created by the Archdiocese of Chicago, and its Laudato Si’ Action Platform, as a way to develop a collaborative and active response.
