Br. John Eustice will be ordained a priest on Saturday at his home parish of St. Thomas More Catholic Community in Henderson, NV. As the big day approaches, Viatorian Voices: Conversations on the Way, caught up with him to hear about his journey.

As a Viatorian brother for nearly 20 years, he has had lots of ministerial assignments that have led him to the decision to become ordained, as well as the last six years of theological study — including six philosophy courses — at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.

Throughout the 25-minute podcast episode, the excitement from Br. John is contagious. His advice to young people discerning a possible vocation: “Don’t wait. Work with a vocation director or counselor and work through things. God gives you a desire, intellect, experiences — don’t wait for anything else.”
