(This image of a 15th century medallion of Madonna and Child, sculpted in glazed terra-cotta by Andrea dell Robbia, can be found hanging in the Viatorian Province Center. It is a cherished part of the religious art collection that is on display throughout the building.

Andrea della Robbia was an Italian Renaissance sculptor and nephew of Luca della Robbia, who originated enameled reliefs. Andrea distinguished himself with a series of reliefs glazed in white on a blue background and framed in a garland of fruit.)
