Eliminating hunger is one of the priorities of the Viatorian Community, consequently its members support Bread for the World Institute, whose mission is to end hunger in the United States, by mobilizing faith communities into one voice.
This month, Bread for the World released its 2020 Hunger Report, and it will host a virtual launch on June 29. Here is a synopsis: “Today, there are 822 million people throughout the world who are undernourished because of hunger. This is not just a statistic, it’s a human reality. Our faith compels us to act with urgency, but we must also act smartly.
“Each year, Bread for the World Institute releases its Hunger Report to equip advocates, faith leaders, and decision makers with stories, data, and other resources that support smart solutions to end hunger.”
