World Relief shares, “On January 20, 2025, President Trump issued an Executive Order suspending USRAP but called for the Secretaries of Homeland Security and State to submit a report to the President within 90 days to recommend either the resumption of the Refugee admissions program or its continued suspension. April 20th marks the deadline for the future of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP). As part of our advocacy efforts to restart USRAP, we are seeking a meeting with a member of the Trump administration to present them our Christian Statement on Refugees. The statement is a powerful public testimony that Christians care about the refugee resettlement program. Currently, our statement has 15,000 signatures and we need your help to reach our goal of 20,000 signatures.”

The Provincial Council for the Clerics of St. Viator, Province of Chicago, has signed on in support of USRAP and these important values.
