Jim Dippold arrived at Cristo Rey St. Martin College Preparatory High School in 2005, one year after it opened and he has helped the school and its traditions grow. As Director of Campus Ministry, he coordinates liturgical and prayer life, including providing retreats, service opportunities and immersion trips.

In this this latest episode of Viatorian Voices: Conversations on the Way, Dippold describes some of the most impactful service projects that his students have participated in: a pop-up food distribution, in partnership with Northern Illinois Food Bank, and later a vaccine clinic, both started during the height of the pandemic.

“Our president, Preston Kendall, envisioned our new campus as being a hub for the community,” Dippold says, “to support and offer opportunities to serve the community.”
